Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán suffered an accident during her performance at the World Trade Center in Boca del Río, Veracruz, forcing the concert to be suspended shortly after it began.
After performing “Míralo” and beginning “Mala,” Guzmán slipped on stage and asked for immediate medical assistance. “I can’t get up,” she told the audience as she remained on the floor. She also said that her hip had apparently dislocated.
Paramedics arrived on stage to assist the singer before taking her by ambulance to a medical center for evaluation. The concert was later canceled, with organizers saying they would announce through Guzmán’s official channels whether the show would be rescheduled.
Hours later, Guzmán reassured her followers on social media, saying doctors had repositioned her hip and that she was doing well. She also thanked doctor Eduardo Arévalo for his prompt medical attention.
