A Ukrainian drone struck a market in the Russian city of Tokmak, in the Zaporozhie province, this Friday, leaving at least five civilians dead and 18 injured, reported the local governor, Yevgeny Balitsky.
The injured have wounds of varying severity and continue to arrive at the central hospital, where additional operating rooms have been deployed and an operational group has been formed to provide medical and psychological assistance to those affected. The wounded have blast injuries in different parts of their bodies.

Four of the most serious patients have already been transferred to the Melitopol regional hospital to receive specialized care. All necessary assistance is being provided in full, and if necessary, additional forces from the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine will be called upon.
Balitsky indicated that he ordered social services to immediately begin working with the families of the deceased and assured that all corresponding compensation will be delivered as soon as possible.

“It is an attack against peaceful life, against people who went to buy food. The responsibility for this tragedy lies with those who deliberately attack civilian targets,” he pointed out.
The authorities asked the population to remain calm, to rely only on official information channels, and not to spread unverified data.

- On June 3, Ukrainian drones struck a bus in Yenakievo in the Donetsk People’s Republic, causing the death of eight civilians. Another 11 people were injured with varying degrees of severity.
- On June 8, one person died and another was injured by the impact of a Ukrainian drone against the locomotive of a passenger train covering the Moscow–Simferopol route.
- The drone attack perpetrated on June 17 against a bus carrying a children’s soccer team from Belarus to the Russian resort city of Gelendzhik, on the Black Sea coast, resulted in one person dead and eight injured, including six minors.
- As a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on a home on June 30 in the city of Yegoryevsk, in the Moscow region, a six-month-old baby lost their life. After the impact, a fire broke out and the inhabitants were trapped under the rubble. Rescue teams managed to extract two adults and two minors.
- In response to these and other crimes, the Russian Armed Forces carry out attacks against targets related to the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, including military, energy, and transport targets.
