Minutes later, a double by Elier Hernández to center put Rodríguez on the plate for 2-0. In the seventh, the capitalinos added another run. Lake started with a double to left field, advanced to third on González’s fly ball, and scored thanks to Rodríguez’s hit to left field. The final attack came in the eighth inning in which the Escogido added three runs. Chadwick Tromp hit a two-run home run to left field against Pedro Payano, with Eguy Rosario on base. The hit came off the bat at 97 miles per hour and traveled 345 feet.
