WASHINGTON (EFE).– The NBA confirmed this Tuesday the lineups for the next All-Star Game, which for the first time will feature a renewed format and will have as its main attraction the presence of LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant integrating the same team.

The traditional All-Star game will leave behind the classic matchup between the Eastern and Western conferences and will adopt a mini-tournament in a round robin format, with the participation of three teams: two representing the United States, called “Bars” and “Stars”, and a combined team from the Rest of the World. The two best teams will advance to the final. James, Curry, and Durant will be part of the Barras team, along with Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell, and Donovan Mitchell, making up one of the most striking rosters of the event. The Stars team will be made up of Cade Cunningham, Anthony Edwards, Chet Holmgren, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Duren, Devin Booker, Scottie Barnes and Jalen Johnson. For their part, the World team will feature top international figures such as Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jamal Murray, Karl-Anthony Towns, Pascal Siakam and Deni Avdija. Giannis Antetokounmpo was also selected, although his participation is in doubt due to an injury that could prevent him from traveling to Los Angeles. The teams will be led by Mitch Johnson (San Antonio Spurs) at the helm of Barras, J.B. Bickerstaff (Detroit Pistons) as coach of Estrellas and Darko Rajakovic (Toronto Raptors) in the World team. Regarding records, LeBron James leads the All-Star history with 22 selections, followed by Kevin Durant with 16, Stephen Curry with 12, Giannis Antetokounmpo with 10 and Nikola Jokic with 8 participations. The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will be held from February 13 to 15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, in Los Angeles.
