Following the restart of its seasonal service between Paris–Charles de Gaulle and the Punta Cana Airport, Air France celebrated the return of this route with a simple and symbolic presence during the arrival and departure of the inaugural flights. On the occasion of this restart, representatives from Air France and Punta Cana Airport were present to welcome passengers from Paris and to accompany the departure of the first flight from Punta Cana to the French capital, reaffirming the importance of this route for the international positioning of the destination. This seasonal service, operating from January 13 to March 28, 2026, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, reconnects Punta Cana with more than 200 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East via Air France’s hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, offering travelers seamless global connectivity.

“Air France’s return to Punta Cana reflects our commitment to maintaining strong and meaningful connections with the Dominican Republic,” said Maristella Rodríguez, Country Sales Manager of Air France–KLM for Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. “Being present on the inaugural flight was a way to reaffirm our support for the destination and to welcome our customers back on board.” For his part, Giovanni Rainieri, Airside Operations Director of Punta Cana Airport, highlighted the relevance of the restart of this route “The resumption of Air France operations to Punta Cana reinforces our air connectivity with Europe and consolidates the airport’s positioning as a strategic hub in the Caribbean. This connection not only expands travel options for passengers, but also boosts the development of the destination and its international projection.” Flights operate with departure from Paris at 14:25, arriving in Punta Cana at 18:45. The return flight takes off from Punta Cana at 21:05 and lands in Paris at 10:30 the following day.
