Santiago de los Caballeros.-.The senator for the province of Santiago, Daniel Rivera, stated this Thursday that Dominicans will have to wait for the decision of President Luis Abinader regarding the expectations generated by possible changes in the cabinet and other government positions, which could take place around next August 16th.
Rivera made it clear that no one can take for granted who enters or who leaves the Government, pointing out that the decision regarding a possible restructuring corresponds exclusively to the head of State.
“It is all in the hands of the President of the Republic,” the legislator maintained when questioned about rumors of changes in the government cabinet.

The senator indicated that the changes are part of the decisions that the president can adopt to define the structure and operation of his administration, including ministers and directors.
Rivera also called to wait for events to unfold, noting that the announcements could take place before or after August 16, a date that traditionally concentrates political attention due to possible movements in the Government.
As anticipation grows, the senator’s message is direct: the final word rests with Abinader.
