Santo Domingo.– Dominican judoka Diego García Ramírez won the bronze medal this Saturday in the -68 kilogram category at the judo tournament of the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, adding a new medal for the national delegation.

With this result, García Ramírez climbed onto the podium after an outstanding performance on the tatami, contributing to the Dominican Republic’s medal count at the most important sporting event in the region.

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation (Miderec) congratulated the athlete through its social media channels, highlighting the achievement reached in the competition.
