Santo Domingo. – On the occasion of the New Year, the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Víctor Atallah, extended a message of congratulations to the Dominican people, wishing a year full of health, well-being, and hope, while reaffirming the commitment of the Dominican Government to continue protecting the life and health security of the entire population.

Dr. Atallah emphasized that the beginning of a new year represents an opportunity to strengthen civic awareness, act with prudence, and responsibly comply with the measures established by the authorities, which are aimed at preventing risks and ensuring collective well-being.

“The greatest gift we can offer our families in this new year is health care. Celebrating with prudence and respecting official recommendations is a demonstration of love, responsibility, and commitment to life,” said the minister.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the Ministry of Public Health maintains active surveillance and constant work throughout the national territory, executing preventive actions and strengthening health services, as part of the Government’s vision to ensure dignified, timely, and efficient care for all Dominicans.

The Public Health official urged citizens to start the year with discipline, solidarity, and respect for the established rules, highlighting that the collaboration between authorities and the population has been key to facing health challenges and continuing to move forward as a nation.

Finally, Dr. Víctor Atallah reiterated his wish for a New Year filled with peace, health, and prosperity for every Dominican home, assuring that the Ministry of Public Health will continue working tirelessly for the well-being of the people.
