La Romana. – With the firm commitment to safeguard security and public order during the festivities, General Wandy Madé Montilla, Eastern Regional Director of the National Police, led an important coordination table with the main commanders of the Joint Task Force and representatives of organizations linked to State security, as part of the “Christmas Guarantee of Peace 2.0” operation.
During the workday, specific strategies were established aimed at reinforcing crime prevention, prioritizing the control of illegal activities, intervention against unauthorized parties, the regulation of motorcycle circuits, and the increase of preventive patrols in sectors with a higher incidence.
The meeting included the integration of key institutions, including Politur, Digesett, Dicrim, Dintel, Deamvi, the Public Ministry, the Prosecutor’s Office, the National Emergency and Security Attention System 911, and the DNCD, reaffirming a joint and coordinated work approach.
This inter-institutional synergy allows for a comprehensive response that combines prevention, intelligence work, criminal investigation, and protection of vulnerable populations, ensuring an effective presence of the State in streets, communities, and commercial areas.
General Madé Montilla reiterated that these actions seek to protect the life, tranquility, and property of the citizenry, ensuring safe and harmonious festivities. “Our duty is to serve the people with responsibility and closeness,” he pointed out.
