Santo Domingo-. President Luis Abinader travels this Friday to Cali, Colombia, to participate in the official acts of the presidential transfer of power of Abelardo de la Espriella, who will assume the Constitutional Presidency of the Republic of Colombia.
Upon his arrival in Cali, the head of state will meet with other leaders as part of the agenda prior to the official ceremony.
Subsequently, President Abinader will participate in the protocol greetings to be offered by the President-elect of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella, and his wife, Ana Lucía Pineda, to the heads of State and Government, vice presidents, and other invited high authorities.

Later, the head of state will attend the transfer of command ceremony, in which Abelardo de la Espriella will assume office as constitutional president of the Republic of Colombia.
The president and the official delegation are scheduled to return to the Dominican Republic this Friday night.
