Santo Domingo.- Dr. Ana Jacqueline Ureña has consolidated her position as the virtual winner of the Deanship of the Faculty of Humanities at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), having obtained more than 60% of the votes, according to the records registered during the count of the second electoral round.

The wide lead achieved by Ureña marks the outcome of an intense electoral contest and reflects the majority support of the faculty for his management proposal to lead one of the academy’s most emblematic faculties.

During the scrutiny process, professors Eulogio Silverio, Frank Acosta, and Ruth Cuevas, also candidates in the race, acknowledged the victory of Dr. Ana Jacqueline Ureña and accepted the results reflected in the minutes, contributing to an institutional and democratic conclusion of the process.

The new management will be accompanied by Dr. Eunice Vicioso in the Vice-Deanship, with the commitment to promote a participatory, transparent administration oriented towards the strengthening of teaching, research, and extension.
