Group of undocumented Haitians hidden in bushes in Azua detained

Azua. Through patrols carried out by members of the Dominican Republic Army, 16 Haitians in irregular migratory status were detained in the province of Azua. The group of undocumented individuals, all men, were found hidden in some bushes in the area and were arrested by soldiers assigned to the Los Memisos detachment.

The foreigners were transferred to the Bánica detachment to later be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM) for the corresponding purposes.
