Haitian citizen detained for transporting two undocumented women in San Juan de la Maguana

San Juan de la Maguana, R.D. – A Haitian citizen identified as Felistin Saint Felix, who was in the country with an expired temporary work permit, was arrested by the Dominican Republic Army after being caught transporting two Haitian women in an irregular migratory condition.

The arrest took place at a military checkpoint in Pedro Corto, San Juan de la Maguana, when members of the ERD intercepted the Kia jeep, Sorento model, white color, license plate G729935, in which the foreigners were traveling.

The detainee, along with the Haitian nationals and the seized vehicle, was transferred under custody to the Fortaleza General José María Cabral of the ERD, for the corresponding legal process.
