Santo Domingo.-The First Instruction Court of the National District is scheduled to issue its decision this Monday regarding the Jet Set Club case, a tragedy in which 236 people died and about 180 were injured.
Judge Raymundo Mejía will announce the ruling that will determine whether the defendants, siblings Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, will be sent to a full trial for their alleged connection to the incident.
The hearing is generating great expectation due to the magnitude of the case, considered one of the most serious to have occurred in the country in recent years due to the number of victims and the social impact.
