The Ministry of Labor reiterates to the entire business and working community of the country that Thursday, June 4, 2026, the date on which the religious holiday Corpus Christi is celebrated, will not be changed.
In that sense, in the public and private sectors, in accordance with Law No. 139-97 which regulates the transfer of holidays, work will resume next Friday the 5th of this month, in compliance with the application of holidays.
The celebration of this date, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned law, must be applied in all establishments in the country.
