PN re-arrests “Copita”, fugitive sentenced to 30 years for triple homicide in Azua
Azua. – The National Police re-arrested Jeison Alexis Moreno (a) “Copita”, considered highly dangerous and sentenced to 30 years in prison for the triple homicide that occurred on November 24, 2020, in the municipal district of Los Jovillos, Azua province, where three citizens lost their lives, including the couple Virgen Ramírez, 38 years old, and Tony Encarnación.
The capture of Moreno, in charge of the Fugitives and Rebels Search Department of the DICRIM, took place after an extensive investigation and intelligence process, activated after his escape, which also allowed the detention of five people identified as part of an association of wrongdoers who acted in complicity with the convicted person’s romantic partner to orchestrate his escape.
