Madrid, Spain.– The journalist Ramón Tolentino highlighted this Wednesday the magnitude, creativity and projection of the stand of the Dominican Republic at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2026, which is held in Madrid, Spain.

Tolentino explained that his participation in FITUR responds to his firm conviction that tourism is closely linked to security, a topic he constantly promotes in his journalistic work.

“We have to support this. Tourism is not just for one, it’s for everyone,” he expressed when valuing the importance of the sector for the country’s economic development. He also described the management of the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, as “excellent”, assuring that his leadership at the head of the institution has contributed to tripling the arrival of tourists to the Dominican Republic. The communicator, who is visiting the International Tourism Fair for the first time, took the opportunity to invite tourists from all over the world to visit the Dominican Republic and enjoy the attractions of Quisqueya, highlighting that it is a safe and highly competitive destination internationally.
