San Cristóbal Chamber of Commerce, CEDISANC and CONADIS carried out a major medical operation

San Cristóbal, R.D.– The Chamber of Commerce and Production of San Cristóbal, the Diagnostic Center of San Cristóbal (CEDISANC) and the National Council of Disability (CONADIS) held a medical operation this Tuesday in the Central Park of San Cristóbal, for the benefit of the entire population that attended.

The health day took place as part of Health Week, an initiative that seeks to promote prevention, timely access to medical services, and awareness of the comprehensive well-being of citizens.

During the operation, attendees were able to access medical evaluations and health guidance free of charge, positively impacting dozens of families who came to the location. Also joining this operation were Senasa and ARS Futuro, with affiliation and promotion of their services; as well as the LAM and ALFA laboratories, which provided free samples of medications to visitors. The Health Week will continue next Thursday with the academic conference entitled “Stroke Code”, aimed at health professionals to socialize on the importance of early detection and timely management of strokes. The activities will conclude on Sunday, February 15th with the traditional 5K race, which will start at the Parque Piedras Vivas, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits. The Chamber of Commerce reiterated its commitment to strengthening initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life and health of the population of San Cristobal.
