Santo Domingo.— The communicator and businessman Santiago Matías, known as Alofoke, registers a 3.6% electoral preference when asked which option the public would vote for if the presidential elections were held today, according to a measurement by ACD Media.
The data is relevant because Dominicanos Primero, the political project promoted by Matías, does not yet have official recognition as a political party, so its level of preference appears in the measurement despite not currently competing under a recognized political organization.

According to the results, the PRM leads the preferences with 17.4%, followed by Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) with 14.2% and the PLD, which reaches 9.5%.
Meanwhile, other political options accumulate 7.8%, while Santiago Matías obtains 3.6%.
The study also reflects a high level of uncertainty among respondents. 47.5% answered that they do not know or did not want to answer, while the question was applied under the assumption that the presidential elections were held currently.
A fact to observe
Although Matías’ percentage is still below that of the main traditional political organizations, his 3.6% is significant as he is a figure who does not yet have an officially recognized party and is in the process of promoting a new political organization.
Matías has promoted Dominicanos Primero as an alternative to traditional parties and has led signature collection drives in different parts of the country with the goal of meeting the requirements established for the organization’s recognition.
