Puerto Plata.– The accidental death of Amanda Michelle Maldonado, a three-year-old girl, has caused deep sorrow in the Jarabacoa community and among thousands of social media users.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred while the family was staying at a villa in the Puerto Plata province.
The minor was the daughter of businessman Manuel Maldonado, known as “Manny”, and content creator Guillersis Claudio, popularly known on social media as “La Negra del Swing”.
According to the versions released, the girl was resting in a room and had allegedly woken up while her mother was attending to her younger brother. Presumably, upon leaving the house after spotting a cat, she fell into the residence’s swimming pool.
The little girl was found without vital signs. Despite the efforts made to resuscitate her, it was not possible to save her life.

The authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the incident occurred, although the available information points to an accident.
Wake in Jarabacoa
Amanda Michelle’s remains were taken to Jarabacoa, where family, friends, and loved ones gathered to bid her a final farewell.

The wake was held at the Don Bosco Funeral Home starting at 4:30 in the afternoon this Monday, according to people close to the family.
