United Nations. The United Nations (UN) included Russia’s security forces on its blacklist of parties accused of committing sexual violence in conflict zones, as reported by the EFE Agency.
The decision is part of the UN Secretary-General’s annual report on sexual violence related to armed conflict, which documents verified cases during the war in Ukraine.
According to the report, numerous incidents of sexual violence against civilians and prisoners of war, recorded in different territories affected by the invasion, are attributed to Russian forces.

Russia has rejected these types of accusations on previous occasions, denying the responsibility of its troops in the events pointed out by international organizations.
