SANTIAGO.– The versatile infielder Cristhian Adames assured he is ready to contribute from day one with the Águilas Cibaeñas, after being selected as a reinforcement in the LIDOM Re-entry Draft, for the start of the Round Robin that begins this Saturday.

“I’m ready to help from day one and contribute wherever the team needs me,” said Adames, who highlighted his commitment and willingness to take on any role in this decisive stage of the tournament.The infielder pointed out that his main objective is to provide depth and defensive stability to the infield, as well as adding timely offense in a stretch where every detail is decisive.
“It’s a great opportunity and a challenge that I take on with great responsibility. Experience and focus will be key in this semifinal”, he added.
“Very grateful, I am going to give 100% with God’s favor. I had a happy holiday with my family and I am ready for this new challenge,” said the player, who explained that his decision to participate in the draft was made in conjunction with his family.
The veteran infielder indicated that he was not surprised to be chosen by the Eagles.
“I know what I can give on the field and what I can contribute to any team,” he stated, highlighting his ability to play in all infield positions.
“I have played in all four infield positions throughout my career and I feel comfortable in all of them; wherever they need me, I will be there.”

For his part, the Eagles’ Baseball Operations manager, Gian Guzmán, highlighted that the selection of Adames brings greater depth and versatility to the infield.
