“We are proud to welcome Air Europa to the Airbus A350 family. This order is a strong endorsement of the A350 as a benchmark platform in terms of efficiency and passenger comfort in the long-haul market,” said Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President of Sales of Airbus Commercial Aircraft. “We are committed to supporting Air Europa’s ambitious growth strategy, which will leverage the capabilities of the A350 for its future long-haul operations.” Over the last few years, Air Europa has been characterized by its firm commitment to innovation in the airline sector. In addition to incorporating the latest technologies in the optimization of all aspects of its operations, positioning itself at the forefront in areas such as data analysis for consumption reduction and efficiency increase, it has chosen to have only the most advanced aircraft in its fleet. With the future arrival of the Airbus units, it reaffirms, once again, this strategic vision. The A350 is the world’s most modern wide-body aircraft, designed to fly up to 9,700 nautical miles or 18,000 kilometers non-stop, setting new standards for intercontinental travel. The aircraft includes both technologies and state-of-the-art aerodynamics that offer unparalleled levels of efficiency and comfort. Its latest-generation Rolls-Royce engines and the use of lightweight materials provide the advantage of reducing fuel consumption by 25%, as well as operating costs and carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions compared to competing aircraft of the previous generation. The A350’s exclusive Airspace cabin offers passengers and crew the most modern resources on board to enjoy a comfortable flight experience. Like all Airbus aircraft, the A350 can operate with up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in its tanks. Airbus aims for its aircraft to be able to operate with up to 100% SAF by 2030. At the end of October 2025, the A350 family had already obtained more than 1,400 orders from 64 customers worldwide.Air Europa signs with Airbus the contract for up to 40 units of its A350-900 model
