The seventh installment of Pequeños Grandes Talentos (PGT) became one of the most emotional of its ninth season by paying a special tribute to Dominican fathers in an edition filled with music, surprises, and moving family stories that touched the hearts of those present and the audience.
Under the concept “A Superhero Named Dad,” the program celebrated those men who inspire, protect, and accompany their children’s dreams, bringing to the stage testimonies, messages of love, long-distance reunions, and moments that brought tears to both the participants and the audience.
The gala featured the participation of renowned entertainment journalist Joseph Cáceres as a guest judge, while artists Silvio Mora, Stephany Ortega (internationally acclaimed Soprano Leggero), and Pavel Núñez joined the celebration, bringing their talent to the stage in an edition where music was the perfect language to honor fathers.
According to this past Sunday’s mission, the PGT children took on the challenge of creating an urban song dedicated to dad, performed alongside Stephany Ortega, demonstrating once again the talent that characterizes the PGT family.
One of the most special moments was the surprise tribute dedicated to the producer and creator of the reality show, Iván Ruiz, recognized by the production as a father of the arts and a mentor to generations of talent, a recognition he received while visibly moved.

The most moving moment arrived during the closing, when Clara Mancebo, considered the girl who inspired the birth of Small Great Talents, went up on stage together with her brother Ernesto Mancebo to perform an emotional song in memory of their father, who passed away just a few months ago.
The performance had a very special meaning for the history of the reality show, as the Mancebo family is part of the foundation of PGT. Their father was one of the main drivers of his children’s dreams since the beginning of the program, so the tribute became one of the most emotional moments of the season, remembering all those fathers who, although they are no longer physically present, remain in the lives of their children. The script itself reserved the closing for a tribute to “the fathers who embrace their children from heaven,” culminating with the performance by Clarita and Ernesto.
On the competitive level, it also defined the first qualifiers of this round heading to the semifinals:
- Jelena and Jelianna Sosa
- ADS Group Girls
- Luis Felipe Justo
Each one conquered the jury and the audience with performances that evidenced the high artistic level that characterizes this ninth season.
