The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Dr. Ana Jacqueline Ureña, swore in Mtro. Efraín Javier as Director of Research for that academic unit, during a ceremony held at the Faculty Dean’s Office.
During the inauguration ceremony, the dean highlighted that strengthening research constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of her administration, considering that the generation of knowledge is essential for the academic, scientific, and humanistic development of the university and the country.

For his part, Mtro. Efraín Javier expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to working in a coordinated manner with the schools, institutes, professors, and researchers of the Faculty of Humanities to strengthen the research culture, promote scientific production, and generate knowledge that contributes to the development of the university and Dominican society.
The activity was attended by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Mtra. Eunice Vicioso; the directors of the various schools of the Faculty, as well as coordinators of the different academic units, who supported the start of the new administration at the head of the Research Directorate.
