Santo Domingo.- On the occasion of the solemnity of Corpus Christi, hundreds of Catholic faithful gathered this Thursday at the Las Mercedes Church, Our Lady of Carmen Church, and San Carlos Church to participate in the liturgical celebrations dedicated to the Body and Blood of Christ.
During the Eucharists, attendees listened to the Word of God through the homilies and participated in the consecration of the bread, one of the most significant moments of the Catholic faith.
In the homily held at Las Mercedes Church, priest Frankelly Rodríguez highlighted the importance of unity among believers and strengthening the relationship with God.

The religious leader exhorted those present to live their faith with commitment, solidarity, and love for their neighbor, remembering that the Eucharist represents a bond of communion between Christ and the Christian community.
