Santiago.– Amidst the pain, Yulisnny Luna, a relative of 46-year-old Felicia Ramírez Capellán, cried out for justice and described the woman as hardworking, cheerful, and dedicated to her family, while also requesting that the case not go unpunished.
“We want justice. She was a hardworking woman, devoted to her family, and we don’t know what happened. She went out to work and never returned,” she expressed through tears.
For his part, a cousin of the victim stated that the crime was carried out with extreme violence and requested that the investigations clarify the facts without speculation about the identity of those responsible.
“The only thing we ask is that they find the culprit and that he pays for this cruel act,” he/she indicated.
After burying Felicia, her sister stated that the family is devastated and reported that two people who had been detained for investigation purposes were subsequently released, for which she demanded a forceful response from the authorities.

Another of her relatives, José Ramírez de la Cruz, remembered Felicia as an honest, responsible woman who was concerned about the well-being of her parents.
The homicide has sparked outrage in both Guayabal and La Vega, as relatives and community members demand that the Public Ministry and investigative agencies deepen their inquiries to find those responsible and bring them to justice. So far, authorities have not offered an official version regarding the motive for the crime, nor have they reported any individuals being charged in the case.

The violent death of Felicia Ramírez Capellán has caused dismay among relatives and residents, after her body was found last Tuesday morning on Jarro Sucio street, in the Yabanal sector, in La Vega province, with multiple signs of violence.
According to preliminary information, the body showed blunt force trauma, stab wounds, presumably caused by a machete, as well as burns on different parts of the body. Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the crime occurred and are working to identify and apprehend those responsible.
The victim resided in the municipal district of Guayabal, belonging to the municipality of Puñal, in the Santiago province, and, according to her relatives, she had left to work at a residence when contact with her was lost.
