SANTO DOMINGO.- The young Dominican prospect Yuniesky Mateo once again demonstrated that his talent and offensive power are above expectations for his age, by starring in an outstanding performance during a showcase held this Tuesday.

Mateo, belonging to the class of 2032, made a great impression on those present thanks to his extraordinary ability to connect on long-range hits and a physical preparation that, combined with his approach at the plate, allows him to generate exit velocities exceeding 100 miles per hour.
The prospect, son of former player Rubén Mateo, put on an offensive show by hitting the ball out of the park to different angles of the field, demonstrating uncommon power for a player of his age.
Nicknamed “The Buffalo”, Yuniesky Mateo continues to draw attention for his skills and the potential he has shown in his performances, becoming one of the young prospects who generates the most expectation for the coming years.
