Jean Montero shines again and makes the All-Liga Endesa First Team

Valencia, Spain.- The Dominican Jean Montero was included in the Best Five of the Liga Endesa for the 2025-26 season, a recognition that places him once again among the five most outstanding players in Spanish basketball following his outstanding performance with Valencia Basket.

The selection was made through a vote in which coaches, players, media, and fans participated. Montero will share this prestigious group with David DeJulius (UCAM Murcia), Mario Hezonja (Real Madrid), Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot (Baskonia), and Luka Bozic (Coviran Granada).

The Dominican point guard completed an outstanding regular season with averages of 14.2 points, 3.8 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and a 16.0 efficiency rating per game in 26 matches played. His performance was key for Valencia Basket to finish the regular season in second place in the standings, securing home-court advantage in the playoffs.

This is the second consecutive season that Montero has been part of the All-Liga Endesa First Team, consolidating his growth as one of the main young figures in European basketball. In addition, the Dominican was one of the most highly valued players by the competition’s coaches during the voting process.

The recognition adds to a campaign full of individual successes for the player born in Villa Juana, who continues to strengthen his reputation in international basketball and is projected as one of the great Dominican figures in professional sports. With his inclusion in the All-Liga Endesa First Team, Montero reaffirms his status as a benchmark for Valencia Basket and Dominican basketball in Europe.
