Champions League: Victories for Barça and Athletic, while Atlético doesn’t get past a draw

Sports writing (EFE).- Barcelona earned a hard-fought victory (2-4) in Prague against a combative Slavia, Galatasaray and Atlético drew 1-1, and Athletic Club won 2-3 against Atalanta in Bergamo in Champions League.

Barça keeps alive the objective of getting direct access to the round of 16, which could be certified in the last matchday of the league phase against Copenhagen at the Spotify Camp Nou.

After a tied first half (2-2) in which Fermín López (min. 34 and min. 42) turned around Kusej’s initial goal before Robert Lewandowski’s own goal just before halftime, the Blaugrana team built their triumph in the second half, in which Pedro González ‘Pedri’ was injured, thanks to goals from Dani Olmo (2-3, min. 63) and the Polish ‘9’ (2-4, min. 71).

Atlético fails to get past the draw (1-1) and the ‘top 8’ gets complicated
