Santo Domingo.– American actor, comedian, and screenwriter Tracy Morgan expressed his admiration for the Dominican Republic by revealing that he maintains a close bond with the country thanks to his wife being Dominican, a relationship that has allowed him to visit the island on several occasions and get to know its culture up close.
During a conversation with Dominican-descendant comedian Marcello Hernández on Variety magazine’s “Actors on Actors” program, Morgan highlighted the hospitality of Dominicans and the value they place on family.
“My wife is Dominican. We go to the Dominican Republic, which is a beautiful country; the people are very humble, they take care of their family,” the actor expressed when referring to his experiences in Dominican territory.
